Betrayal between family

Miyuki slowly opened the door to find Akira stood by the stairs. Her lilac eyes opened wide in shock. His face slightly stained with red splashes, Akira looked pleased with himself, his eyes sparkling with pride and happiness. "What have you done, Akira?" Miyuki whispered, she grabbed her arm to stop herself shaking. Akira's mouth widened into a smile, "What I probably should have done ages ago, Miyuki." He replied, he walked towards her and brushed her wavy, blue hair out of her face. "Now we can live happily together… Like we always wanted." Miyuki let out a small gasp before pushing her brother out of the way and running in to the lounge. She looked around. Nothing. "Where is she?!" she screamed. This was the first time she had ever shouted at Akira, they had always been extremely close but right now she felt anger and panic surge out of her body. He reeled back in surprise, his eyes clouding over with confusion, "Upstairs." He pointed, as he watched his little sister run around trying to find what he had done.
Miyuki knew what had happened while she was out and ran up the stairs, her breath trembling with fear.

Then she saw it.

A body laying at the top of the stairs. A fresh lily placed in her hair and a rose lying next to her. "Mum…?" She whispered, she looked so small as she lay there motionless. "Haruka?" She asked, her voice wavering as she placed her slender fingers on her shoulder. She could feel tears prick in her eyes but she held them back as long as she could. Lifting her hand back off her mother, Miyuki felt something wet on her fingertips. Instantly, she knew what it was. Blood trickled down Haruka's chest. Miyuki's blue hair draped across her face, covering the tears that streamed down of it. "What have you done, Akira…?" she murmured again, half to herself. Akira placed his hand gently on her shoulder, "I thought this is what you wanted, Miyuki…" he replied sadly, "You've seemed so unhappy recently and I know it's all mum's fault… you don't have to pretend with me, you know. I did it for you… and to be honest," he said, getting closer to her, his arm around her shoulder, "I didn't want to kill her but I thought it would make you happy…" Miyuki spun around, anger blazing in her once soft eyes. "Liar!" she screamed, "You don't know what will make me happy! You did this for yourself and no-one else! I hate you!" Pushing her brother out of the way, she ran downstairs, tears pouring down her skin.
